Kindergarten Graduation

I have to explain that we did not order this picture. They provided it with his diploma. It's a cute picture. But I'm not planning on celebrating the end of every school year with a cap and gown!

Cowboy graduated from Kindergarten.  They had the 6th grade orchestra play music for the prelude which was alright considering they're 12.  Then they busted out Pomp and Circumstance when the kids walked in with their caps and gowns.  It was a little much and I had to keep from laughing.  There's a line in the Incredibles that says, "It's psychotic! They keep creating new ways to celebrate mediocrity...." I couldn't help but think of that during the graduation.  If you haven't figured out by now I'm the least festive person you know...well...you know now.

But Cowboy recieved a math award ( okay everyone got some sort of award) and he sang his little heart out during their little graduation program.  And now he's apparently ready for the world of 1st grade!

WHY!?!?

I baby proofed our house a month or so ago once Little T started rolling around.  I however did not Little T proof the house.

This past month little T has been scooting around the house.  He slowly figured out how to get up on his knees and then he slowly figured out how to actually crawl.

Then he started crawling onto and into things. I actually lost him and then found him here. Don't mind the lack of clothing, it's dang hot in Texas.

Then this happened. And keeps happening.  A lot. Ignore the dirty camera lens. And the kitchen cupboards that WILL NOT stay closed.

He's 6 1/2 months old.  He should not be pulling himself to standing.  Last night, I was sitting on the couch and he crawled over to me, pulled himself up, then proceeded to lift his leg up like he was going to climb the rest of the way up the couch.

Why must older busy brothers inspire younger brothers to become busy too?
